There’s a lot of false information in this article, but this line really did it for me. There are TONS of well documented social costs of inequality itself. But most important is that wealth inequality is the primary reason the US does not actually function like a democracy. In the US (as in most liberal democracies) wealth is political power. Massive wealth inequality means mass (effective) disenfranchisement which is exactly what we observe.

I think you are stuck recycling myths peddled by the very people who benefit the most from them. There’s more to political economy than your Econ 101 textbook and fawning over Davos attendees.
